As partners in the educational environment, instructors can help to minimize or eliminate the need for individualized accommodations by considering course design. With a vast spectrum of learners, universal design can meet the learning styles of many of our students.
The Goldman Center for Student Accessibility is available for trainings for individual faculty members, departments and colleges. Topics can include an overview of the Goldman Center and our processes; developing universally designed courses; managing complex student needs; or any specifically requested presentation related to disability services in higher education.
Please contact the Goldman Center by telephone (504-862-8433) for more information or to request a training.
