Testing Center

**FINAL EXAM SCHEDULING DEADLINE is Friday, April 27, 2018**  Due to the unprecedented demand on our Testing Center, it is high unlikely we will be able to make exceptions after the April 27 deadline.  Please login into your Goldman Center portal now to confirm that all of your exams have been scheduled for the remainder of the semester.

If you are approved for testing accommodations at Tulane University, your professors have the option of accommodating you themselves or requesting that you test in the Goldman Testing Center, proctored by Goldman Center staff. Each semester, students who are authorized for exam accommodations have three options:

  1. Take the exam with the class, without accommodations
  2. Take the exam with the professor, with appropriate accommodations
  3. Take the exam at the Goldman Center

Each semester, please remember to request to have your accommodations activated. This process lets the Goldman Center know that you are enrolled this semester and intend use your accommodations. Remember, you don't have to use your accommodations in every class. Follow this guide, How to Request to Activate Your Accommodations, for step-by-step information on activation. When you have submitted your activation requests, the Goldman Center will send emails to each of the professors in the classes where you have elected to use your accommodations.

SCHEDULING EXAMS

If you have Testing Accommodations, remember to check with your professors to determine how they would like to manage those accommodations. If you will take your exams at the Goldman Center, remember there are TWO STEPS to the scheduling process:

  1. Submitting an Alternative Testing Contract (How to Submit an Alternative Testing Contract)
  2. Scheduling your exam appointments (How to Submit Exam Requests)

Follow these step-by-step guides for more information:

Exams requests must be submitted to the Goldman Center online at least four (4) business days in advance of the exam.

If you have an exam in less than four business days, check with the Goldman Center to see if you can be accommodated on the date of your exam. If the Goldman Center cannot accommodate you, you will have to make other arrangements for taking your exam with your professor.
